In Health & Healing,
Yours Truly,

My Stories

Part portfolio, part archive, part collection of my writing, and part attempt to understand the pieces of myself I spent most of my life keeping buried. Maybe this website is simply the version of me most people never really get to know.

The version beneath the “I’m fine”, beneath the public health work, the humor, the intensity, charisma, competitiveness, and the person who somehow always brings loud energy into the room. The one cracking jokes, obsessing over Taylor Swift, and taking volleyball way too seriously: most people only know the surface version of me. What they don’t see is everything underneath it.

These pages hold pieces of my life I kept hidden for a long time. Essays, journal entries, professional work, and deeply personal writing shaped by trauma, identity, grief, family struggles, insecurity, love, resilience, and the small moments of happiness that somehow carried me through the heavier ones.

I learned how to survive quietly while still showing up for whatever life demanded, even during moments that were breaking me apart behind the scenes.I was terrified of letting people see these parts of me. Now, I see these stories differently. They are no longer things to hide, but reminders of growth, heartbreak, healing, connection, and all the deeply human experiences that shaped who I became.

Nick Anthony Productions

Since 2018, what started as a passion project slowly became something much bigger. Growing up on Long Island, it often felt like queer community existed everywhere except where we actually lived. Most LGBTQ+ people had to go into New York City just to find nightlife, connection, or a sense of belonging, and I wanted to help create something closer to home.

At the same time, I was already doing nonprofit and public health work focused on supporting gay men and LGBTQ+ communities through advocacy, education, and prevention work. Creating spaces where people could feel connected felt like a natural extension of that same mission, just in a different form.

Through that intersection of public health, advocacy, and community-building, Nick Anthony Productions was born. "Nicholas" represents the professional, and academic side of me, "Nick Anthony" became the more personal and creative side rooted in nightlife, connection, and bringing people together.

Partnering with local venues, performers, and organizations, Nick Anthony Productions creates events where community and friendship come first. From drag competitions and themed parties to Survivor and reality TV watch nights, the goal has always been bigger than entertainment. It has always been about creating spaces where LGBTQ+ people can feel connected and valued by community.

Volleyball Teams

After losing my mom in February 2022, I thought that happiness and belonging were unachievable, until I found my way to Gotham Volleyball that fall, and it gave me more than I ever expected. What started as a way to fill the time became a community that carried me during the most difficult moments in life.

From my first season as a player with PowerPlay to becoming a Captain in Division 8, and stepping into leadership and volunteering roles along the way, Gotham has given me friendship, purpose, and a reason to show up.
